- Completing a Major in Exercise Science and a Minor in Biology at Benedictine College
Fitness has not always been a part of my life. When I was younger, I was overweight and exercise was not the easiest thing. I was fortunate to have a family friend include me as he studied working with the youth and fitness. It was the first of many times when fitness and exercise would play a part in a major life event. It helped me achieve a scholarship to play football for Benedictine College where I studied Exercise Science with a Minor in Biology. One of the biggest impacts to my health and fitness was after I had a motorcycle accident, one that I should not have survived. The doctors told me I would never be able to play football again, let alone run, and I was lucky to be alive. I couldn’t accept that, and back to exercise it was. I learned what it meant to really push your body, and to break the limits set upon us not just physically but mentally, which is something I bring into my training. With 7 years of experience, working with individuals to team sports, and with a goal to get my Masters in Kinesiology and start a Chiropractic Practice, I am always ready to learn new things. I’m honored to be part of the BarNone Family, working at a facility that I would like to have of my own one day with amazing people that have helped me feel welcome.
