I have always been one to have a gym membership to a big box gym and spend countless hours on an elliptical thinking "that was a good workout".  I was in a rut and needed a new change of pace, when my friend, Erin, introduced me to Barnone.  Whether it's a trainer pushing me to use a heavier weight, other members' positive energy motivating me to get in 2 more burpees, or giving me a support system for healthy eating, Barnone offers all the tools for someone to be successful in weight loss or a healthier lifestyle.  

Barnone has also taught me no matter how hard I work in class, you can't work off a bad eating habit.  I participated in Kim's nutrition class this fall, and it was a giant eye opener.  I thought I was a healthy eater because I ate non-fat/low-calories items that offered no nutritional content and, little did I know, these foods were secretly sabotaging my success.  The class also taught me to recognize non-scale accomplishments.  There is nothing like purchasing a size smaller than you are used to, or fitting into your "skinny jeans".
