My journey with Barnone started with the 20lb weight loss challenge.  Prior to the challenge I worked out 3-5 days a week thru a commercialized gym---short workouts and also a few classes.  There wasn’t anyone there holding me accountable and pushing me harder during my workouts, critique my form, and no one to help me with my nutrition, therefore, I wasn’t seeing the results I needed.  I realized that was the #1 problem, I couldn’t hold myself accountable, so I needed someone else to do it. 

The challenge really was life changing for me; challenging yourself for 6 weeks to not eat or drink anything other than what was in the Challenge Bible was clearly a “tough” challenge.  I didn’t realize my mind could be that strong to not give in.  In addition, waking up at 4 AM?  Never thought I would consistently enjoy getting up that early.  The classes are so amazing…I became addicted! 

After I completed the challenge, losing 22lbs, I joined as a member 5 days a week and I also enrolled in Kim’s nutrition class.  I learned so much about nutrition, my body, emotions, and your overall mindset and relationship you have with food.  Kim holds you accountable day in and day out, is there for you all the time for questions and guidance when you are struggling.  Her knowledge is phenomenal and she really helped me to understand nutrition a little more.  During the 8 week nutrition class, I lost 7lbs of FAT, my body fat percentage dropped 4%, and I gained lean muscle mass.  With all this being said, I feel             amazing, and clearly I can see a difference from where I was in June to now.  This is a lifelong journey and commitment and I am so excited to continue it with Barnone!
